My career path"I believe in taking a sustainable approach to viticulture, one that combines science and creativity."
I’m a winemaker and the owner of Domaine Dugerdil Dardagny, a winery in the countryside of Geneva that’s been in my family for 100 years. I’m responsible for managing the vineyard, taking care of the grapevines, as well as every last detail of the production and winemaking process. There are many diverse aspects to my work, ranging from working the vineyard and growing the grapes to marketing and selling our bottles of wine. I believe in taking a sustainable approach to viticulture, one that combines science and creativity.
I like the variety in my work and my connection to nature.
My career path. I studied oenology. My travels and professional experiences abroad have certainly helped me to become closer to my roots and the land.
A downside or obstacle ? We don’t make a large profit in this profession, which can hold us back in terms of future investments. There are clearly very few women in this masculine, even chauvinistic, world.
I’m proud of the winery’s overall revival and that I believed in it.
